This policy explains what information FiledToday collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. FiledToday ("we," "us") provides daily business lead lists to subscribers in Florida.

Information we collect

We collect two distinct categories of information:

  • Information you give us. When you fill out a form on this site, we collect your name, email address, agency or business name, county, prospecting preferences, and anything you write in the message field. If you become a subscriber, we also keep billing-related details handled by our payment processor.
  • Business filing data we compile. Our product is built from new business registrations filed with the State of Florida, which are public records, combined with contact details drawn from publicly available sources and third-party data providers. This may include a business owner's name, business and personal phone number, mailing address, and website.

How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiry and set up and deliver your subscription.
  • To send you the daily lead lists you've signed up for.
  • To manage billing, support, and account communications.
  • To improve the accuracy and quality of our data and service.

How we share information

We do not sell the personal information you provide to us through our forms. We share information only with service providers that help us operate, such as our form handler, email/delivery tools (including Google Sheets), and our payment processor. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Subscriber lead lists are provided to the paying subscriber for their own outreach and are not to be resold or redistributed, as described in our Terms of Service.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site, for example page views and events such as sample-request funnel steps. GA4 may set cookies or use similar identifiers managed by Google. We configure it for site-usage measurement (not advertising campaigns). Google’s processing of Analytics data is described in Google’s documentation and privacy policy. During a browser session, we also store limited referral information in session storage: the landing-page path, referring website hostname, and campaign tags. If you submit a form, this information is sent with your request to help us understand how you found us. We do not store full referring URLs or unrelated query parameters. We use Formspree to process website requests (sample and related forms).

We also use Google Ads conversion tracking, including Google’s enhanced conversions. If you reach this site from one of our Google ads, Google may set a cookie, and if you then request a sample, the email address you entered is sent to Google in hashed (scrambled) form so Google can match the request to the ad click. We use this only to see which ads work. You can manage Google’s ad settings at adssettings.google.com.

We also keep the referral information from your first visit (landing-page path, referring website hostname, campaign tags), the date of that visit and a count of visits in a first-party cookie named ft_first for 90 days, so a request made on a later visit is still credited to how you first found us. It is only read by this site, is never shared or used for advertising, and you can clear it at any time by deleting this site's cookies.

Data retention and security

We keep the information you provide for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal or accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize it. We take reasonable measures to protect information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices and removal requests

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you've provided to us at any time. If you are a business owner whose contact details appear in our lead data and you'd like to be removed, email us and we will remove you from future lists. We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent version.
