These terms govern your use of FiledToday and the lead data we provide. By using this site or subscribing to our service, you agree to them.

The service

FiledToday compiles newly filed Florida business registrations along with publicly available owner contact details and delivers them to subscribers as a recurring lead list, filtered by county or, on web seller plans, as a set number of leads each weekday.

Subscriptions and billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly and continue until cancelled.
  • You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing and ends delivery at the close of your current billing period.
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Acceptable use of lead data

Lead lists are licensed to you for your own business outreach. You agree not to resell, republish, sublicense, or redistribute the data, in whole or in part, to any third party.

Web seller plans

These terms apply to the Starter, Hustler, Pro and custom plans offered at filedtoday.com/web-design-leads, along with the rest of this page.

  • Who can subscribe. Web seller plans are only for people and businesses that sell websites, search engine optimization, online advertising or design services. At checkout you tell us where we can find your business, such as your website or Instagram. We review every new subscription. If you don't sell those services, or we can't find a business that does, we will cancel your subscription and refund what you paid for it.
  • What you get. Each weekday your plan includes a set number of leads: 25 on Starter, 50 on Hustler, 120 on Pro, or the number agreed for a custom plan. Leads are recently registered Florida businesses with the owner's name and a phone number, for which we did not find a website. Lists are delivered to your FiledToday dashboard and by email (Google Sheets, Excel and CSV), starting the weekday after you subscribe. On a day with fewer qualifying filings, your list may be shorter.
  • Leads are not exclusive. The same lead may also be delivered to other web seller subscribers, up to three in total. We don't promise that no one else has contacted a business.
  • "No website" and open domains. "No website" means we didn't find one when we researched the business; it may still have a site, profile or listing we didn't find. A domain shown as open was not registered when we checked it while building your list. Anyone can register it after that, and we don't reserve, hold or sell domains.
  • Your use of the leads. Leads are for your own outreach about your own services. You may not resell, share, publish or pass on the lists or the contact details in them, including to other sellers, clients or lead buyers. We may cancel a subscription that does, without a refund.
  • Billing. Plans are billed monthly in advance and renew until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the link in your Stripe receipt; lists continue until the end of the period you paid for. Apart from the review described above, fees aren't refundable except where required by law.

Your responsibility for outreach and compliance

You are solely responsible for how you contact the people and businesses in your lists. You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing your outreach, which may include the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CAN-SPAM Act, Do Not Call rules, and any state-level equivalents. FiledToday does not provide legal advice and is not responsible for your communications.

Data accuracy and no guarantee of results

Our data is drawn from public records and third-party sources and is provided "as is." We work to keep it accurate but cannot guarantee that every record is current, complete, or error-free. We make no guarantee of sales, conversions, or any particular business outcome.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FiledToday will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost profits, arising from your use of the service or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for any subscriber who violates these terms, including the restrictions on reselling data or unlawful outreach.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
